Welcome To The Falcon Field, Mesa, AZ (FFZ)

Listen to Falcon Tower's 124.6 tower frequency.  Thanks to SqawkVFR.com!!!

Limited tours of the tower are now being conducted.  However, there are several restrictions as a result of September 11th.  Please call the tower and set up an appointment.

Because of its unique location in the valley, Falcon Tower has developed a unique way to control aircraft on Runway 4L/22R.  All inbound fixed wing aircraft should  contract the tower on 124.6.  Make sure you advise the tower of your position and request.  The tower controller will then provide pattern entry, altitudes and frequency change --- as needed. Read the following link for more information.

While you and us may understand your meaning, the tapes, lawyers and juries do not.  Please read back all clearances regarding a runway assignment.  This becomes even more important when the tower has split local controls.  This is one area that we cannot allow a short-cut to save frequency congestion.  In fact more time is needed to insure that you properly read back all instructions accurately.
